2009 in review

Yes, I'm jumping on the bandwagon and looking back at 2009 through the voice of my blog. I think this is more for myself than anyone...but here goes...

January through March - J working on his final semester in seminary, I was working full-time teaching piano, N was in 3-year old preschool class
April - craziness of graduating from seminary commenced - including turning in all paperwork, planning parties, J's ordination, planning WHAT TO DO ONCE GRADUATION WAS OVER!, trying not to worry about the future, got a call from our (now) pastor, wanting to have an interview with J
May - J graduated, I finished my last semester of teaching with FBC Keller Music Academy, put our house in Texas on the market, interview with FBC Marlow
June - pray for our home in TX to sell, come in view of a call to Marlow, know that God was calling us to move here, J resign from our church in TX
July, August - move to Marlow, J started his new job, found a home to buy but still hadn't sold our in TX, had to wait for a few weeks before we could move into our new home...so we got to camp out in the former dentist office that our church owns, N started Pre-K
September - moved into our home that we love!, unpacked, unpacked, unpacked, and enjoyed not teaching full-time so I could spend more time with N and J
October - Our home in TX sold the day our first payment on our new house was due - God was so good to provide!!!,
November, December - enjoying our new town, N thriving in school, J enjoying his job, all of us loving our new church!, enjoying a WONDERFUL Christmas with the Oklahoma blizzard of 2009!

Looking back, it was a very full year! I'm so thankful to be where we are this year as we begin 2010. We miss our friends in Texas and Florida, but we are thankful for the new friends that God is bringing into our lives. Looking forward to what this year holds...
